Here is a tool that I think all of us beginners would love: Say I have a guy that always plays e6, Be7, h6, Nf6, 0-0 with black... Or some other sequence of moves that he just plays almost without looking what I play against him.

Sometimes in bullet or quick games, this could work in his favor. In fact, many people do just that without looking at what is going on.

Say now I had a way to analyze this game, where I select a sequence of moves that he did, and "lock them". No matter what I play, the opponent will now play these locked sequence of moves, if they are legal. As long as they are legal, he will play them! Now I can use the computer to analyze like a small plan on how to attack this position.

I can of course do this manually... But wouldn't it be awesome if such a tool existed, so that we can quickly see the full plan of execution against such "openings"?

BTW I LOVE the hand and brain feature in this website of yours! Good stuff!

Looks really awesome, looks like first human-like AI that's really more like human. The human-like time usage is not quite human though but best I have seen.

I did notice some bugs though, not sure where to report them. Probably they'll be ironed out anyway.

Is there a way for maia to resign in lost positions? Or do I have to play them till mate every time, cuz it's a waste of time when it comes to practice.

The bots are amazing, but I wonder how their strength is calsulated, cuz they aren't that strong. I was practicing the Blumenfeld Gambit as starting position and I beat maia2600 twice with no problems, not even fully focused on the game the second time and I got into a bad position, but it didn't matter.

Still they are very good to quickly get some understanding of a completely new position

EDIT: Oh, and refreshing counts as resigning
