What about putting beer in a plastic bag, hidden under a suit jacket, with a tube connected to a fake pencil hidden in a pocket, which the player pretends to chew for conc...
And yet that isn't even close to as far you would go

FUN FACT: I have never used a chess clock in real life. Serious, trust me.
Just make sure you press the clock after every move. When you're new to it, you might make your move and completely forget about the clock :p
I always practice by playing OTB with my brother. (30-40 games per day)

Ahh, but without a clock! Then you might still forget to press it when you finally use one ;p

Yeah. By the way I did play OTB... But not FIDE tournaments. I played in my school (but it's not FIDE tournament, it is kinda a selection)... I mean, that doesn't help anything...

So it's not your first OTB experience, just your first FIDE tournament. That makes sense lmao :)

Neinn... That school selection doesn't have chess clock, and doesn't have FIDE rating.
FUN FACT 3: I played chess for school selection, all the morning... I didn't study. But not getting tired...

Ofc, I know some basic FIDE rules... Although, as I mentioned, I never have a chance to play it... Hopefully...
