It's impossible to play and chat when in the mobile app and short time control. Even in longer time control, it's distracting. Sometimes I get the impression that some people talk when in troubles in the game, trying to disturb your thinking.
Exactly. Btw, that's the whole point of most of those takeback requests, too.
