I know that veganism saves the animals. I do agree we need to save animals, but if we didn't eat our current barn animals and let them loose, would they over-populate the world? They could disrupt the food chain and destroy ecosystems. It might be best to continue keeping them in fences.

No - it may disrupt environments temporarily but only for a generation of animals or so. They would be predated upon - predators would thrive, and natural cycles would return lol - there actually WERE that many ruminants and more naturally - but utilizing natural cycles instead of artificially created ones. Once upon a time there were millions of buffalo that roamed our wild thriving prairies in the US - and other places across the world. They created extremely fertile and healthy ecosystems compared to today's manicured lawns and monocrops

fart methane. also, humans stated as carnivores, and if it aint broken, dont fix it. As in 7th grade science, there is a certain amount of animals an ecosystem can support

Genesis 1:29-30 depicts God apparently assigning fruits and vegetables as our diet. Later in Genesis 9:3, He apparently extended this to "everything that lives and moves about".
