There is a new post game display of victory/draw/loss flags. This should be a setting. Where is the switch to turn these off since I think they have absolutely no value post game; win loss etc is already fairly obvious and display of these flags should depend upon user preferences!!! If you add things like this to the display in the future such changes should also includes settings to prohibit their display.

So when is there going to be a user controlled switch for this unnecessary feature? Who wins is already stated on screen. Leaving this without a control for if it is displayed or not indicates a disregard from this site of it's users; so when will THAT issue be addressed?

I think the new feature is kinda nice, but I don't really care whether it's there or not ;p

When will this become optional?

Other duplications: "White ran out of time • Black is victorious" on screen twice at the same time. Just sayin'. Pointless duplications and additions are "inspiring" as opposed to "changes that might actually make things function better or more efficiently". Really pointing out some goofyness hereabout. I suppose I never really paid attention before. Now ... The glow in the dark flags do make one think about the design more. Not casting things in a good light. Cringeworthy.

"Kinda nice"
"I don't really care whether it's there or not"
full of contradictions, aren't we?

If you look what you originally posted was one sentence.
Look. if you like them... if there was a switch to turn them off you could leave them on. The little "flags" stick out and definitely are highlighting some of this sites problems. If that's what Lichess.org wants, for everything wrong to be more noticeable; They got it. Annoyingly noticeable. It detracts from game play. I wouldn't wish that on you. Don't wish that on me or anyone else. All I'm seeing from you is that you want to try to be annoying.
If you, as you said, don't care. Don't comment.
It's not like what you're doing is helpful in any way.

I can like a feature without caring whether it's there or not. That's all I meant ;p

Adding a visual flair without an option to turn it off is unfathomable.
