How to turn off the victory flags that now appear on board post game. This should be a setting!

Is it possible to use the draw flag instead of a national flag?

GM ILikeBlitz: I just finished a game to check I'm not seeing a national flag so I'm not certain what you're looking at. In the game I was playing the losing side had a red flag indicating they resigned (a white flag in a circular red field). The winner had a green circular field with a "cup" in it.

I don't like this new change. I think it is too tacky and too much like the green site, and also it's very distracting when you are trying to analyse afterwards and the symbols follow your king around even in non-mate positions.

Please can we revert or at least have the option to turn this off?

Well this very vigilant Lichess player has spotted a bug in the victory/defeat/draw flags on the analysis board which shows flags even in positions where it should not be shown.
So our very clever Lichess devs have had to create an "off state" for this most unnecessary feature which is encapsulated and not an "off switch" for users who don't want it. Very curious situation.

Yes, it's just awful when analysing a game, even in a study.

I think it's just the analysis board bug that is fixed but not removal of victory flags. Unless I've missed a new setting option since I checked by removing my uBlock filters and they reappeared.
