How to turn off the victory flags that now appear on board post game. This should be a setting!

Alphahumane: Yes the most recent forum post should be at the top of the list.

It's like Lichess.org has become more corporate with the way they act. Is not giving users the choices they should have ego? At this point I have no reason to doubt that "EGO" it is. Ego also involved in the lack of communication with end users. HELLO LICHESS. (yelling to be heard) YOU THERE? HOW ABOUT A OFF SWITCH FOR THIS SO CALLED "FEATURE"? I posted about some of my experiences with them since I signed up. Yeah. Ego. They could prove this wrong by just communicating and also fixing the problems listed here.

As a Lichess user several hours per day, I have to say I don't like it at all . No way to remove it ? At least in study mode maybe ?

Dear Lichess team please give us an option to turn these flags off!

What would make me think it wasn't ego?
Cooperative engagement on this topic by "those" who run this site. Simple. Desirable. Yet no such thing has happened.
Lack of such engagement makes this site look poorly managed. "We don't care about the end user or the end user experience". Just doesn't look good.
Hiding and or ignoring criticism instead of dealing with it makes it look worse.
How about engaging with the end users here and adding an off switch? Whatever bad logic has been used to justify not doing this,... being responsive in a positive way to your end users will improve things at this site. Users will have more confidence in it. The alternative looks like so much slop, which, I think we've all had too much of.

Add an off switch lichess. <------------This will be repeated frequently.

Lichess.org should add an off switch for the recent problem of "victory flags" (or defeat flags now) so users who do not want to see that can opt out of it. <------------This will be repeated frequently.

Not sure what the person who wanted to add a purely decorative feature-bug was thinking. Were they thinking?

Lichess should not ignore the comments and requests of users. Should not effectively be saying that "we do not matter to them"; that their "decorations" mean more to them than the experience of users on their site and keeping a functional chess board clear of unneeded distractions.

Maybe the developers will have mercy on us ordinary users and actually respond?

The target audience for the new initiative has already given it their approval https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/the-mark-in-the-top-right-corner-of-the-king-is-really-nice It's encouraging that most of the people who commented on this thread are against this initiative.

It seems the thread is shadow banned. I can't find it in the list of recent threads on the forum, even though it should be there based on my previous posts.

There are other forum posts on this subject. I was just looking and I believe I saw several others addressing the same topic:

https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/need-to-turn-off-the-victory-flag-that-now-appear-on-board-post-game-this-should-be-a-setting
https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/turn-off-the-victory-flag-that-now-appear-on-board-post-game-in-zen-mode
https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/how-to-disable-the-markers-when-a-game-finishes

This may not be a complete list.

The question is why do they not want to fix this? I do not see a legit reason to be opposed to fixing such a simple problem.
Is this ego? If so ...
the question may become what does it cost to set up a free chess server?
And
Where is there an actual currently existing free chess website?

ooooooooo lichess what does "off switch" mean?
If they like this function they don't have to switch it off.
