Guys i lost the third.....
Hang in there. Btw do you know why you lost? Were you on your preferred color? Are you just "off"?
On the bright side, you havent gone 0-10 in this tournament yet. Not that I have experience on this matter ofc(hem hem)

There is a difference between discipline and abuse. What did Himawari_Nohara do "wrongly"? Lose a game or two of chess?

Just don't listen them and make your own way. And talk with a psychologist it's not for crazy people they know more what to do than me

I haven’t played much professional chess, but I’ve seen these shenanigans at tournaments, your story and the things I’ve seen actually are disturbing. Chess is already a very stressful game and this does not make it any better.
I’m not sure what you can do about your parents, but at the end of the day, we forum-residents are here, ever feeling down, drop a dm and let’s discuss, keeping all these thoughts w yourself will not make it any better, just scream tf out of your lungs in the forums (eh you can get caught or chatbanned so dm is better) or dms.
I wish you the best of luck in becoming a CM, it was a dream for me around 2 years ago, but I couldn’t manage my studies and chess, so now I just play for fun. I hope at least you’re able to get it :D

Where is the coach in all this?
He should teach the discipline of blunder checking before moving.
He should advice on how to cope with losses, i.e. analyze lost games.
The parents know nothing about chess, but they pay the coach.

Your coach should also tell you to stay away from blitz while playing a tournament.

i disagree that DM is better.
the OP hasn’t been banned when using a few choice words so i think they’re fine.
just to make sure they can read the forum etiquette.
the OP should decide who to DM, if at all and why? no need, just by reading the responses.
