if christian god existed, would he be a cruel god?

Only a true fair god wouldn't create hell and heaven but rather give you a life experience of what you want. It was your choice to experience this.

Why is this fair? Much of the growth that I've had in my life was involuntary, and what I want changes as I grow through hardships.

Let's say we have a good person who has an easy life (wealthy, handsome, intelligent) and a bad person who has an extremely difficult life, living under extreme cruelty.

Forgiveness and lenience is a thing. It's not like an all-knowing God doesn't know this.

1.we all have a sinful nature

  1. God sent his son to die for our sins so that if we accept him we will have eternal life in heaven
  2. adam and eve ate the fruit and as a result God punished them by inflicting everyone with death and sin
  3. if those children that get starved havnt been offered salvation they will go to heaven to immediately be with God
    4.5 if those children were offered salvation and accepted it there is nothing wrong with death and more or less something to be happy about cause they will be in heaven
  4. accepting salvation IS EASY and only takes a couple of sentences for a eternal life in heaven... if those children were offered salvation and didnt accept that might have been their only chance and sadly they go to hell

If god is all powerful, he could have created a universe where we grow without pain and suffering and needless death.

Oh great, serial rapist christian priests can just "say a couple of sentences" and live an eternity of bliss, despite the evil they've done. Totally not cruel to banish an innocent child to an eternity of hell who won't say "a couple of sentences" that their rapist priests want them to say, and that same rapist well get to go to heaven because they drink the coolaid.

I can't think of a more fair and just way to structure the universe.

Consider this when a tsunami hits a kills hundreds of people all because they never had the gospel "Good News" preached to them when baby's are born deformed and God the Christian god knew and had the power to make it better but doesn't why pray to him.

Prayer = giving god advise!

  2. If I light my child on fire because they say they don't love me, that's horribly cruel. Apparently there's nothing I can say that can convince you of that, so enjoy your life of questionable ethics.

A few other things that can't be proven false along with Our Noodly Savior:

  1. The other 10,000+ religions that exist.
  2. Our brains are in jars, and everything we experience is an illusion.
  3. Reality is a simulation.

But Christianity must be true, because my parents say so! There's definitely nothing dangerous about this, I'll go ahead and keep blindly listening to my religious authority figures because they can justify doing anything according to the Good Word, and definitely won't use that mass ignorance for anything bad, right?

But you think that somebody 2000 years ago wrote the word god and that convinced you.
You said there are 10,000 religions exist that's 10,000 different concepts of god.
I guess there is confusion about god. They all say kill the others because of there false thinking.
Some god.
And saying somebody else says it is true is not proof.

It's amazing Christianity "God" can't be proved either. But you think that somebody 2000 years ago wrote the word god and that convinced you.
