if christian god existed, would he be a cruel god?

Murdering entire populations and making parasites that eat eyeballs for the “sins” of a few people is horribly cruel.

I’m obviously not going to change your mind, because religious people always pull out some BS to justify the cruel existence we live in. Hopefully some rational people reading this that have their parents/community trying to indoctrinate them into their cult can understand that if the Christian god does exist, they are either terribly cruel or have no love for humanity.
God gave Adam and Eve everything they could have ever wanted and needed but they wanted more read it 4 urself genesis 3:4-5

Oh that's right, I forgot that someone disobeying their creator makes it okay to starve 10,000 children a day and wipe out populations with natural disaster and disease. That's totally not cruel, I mean just yesterday my child ate an apple when I told him not to, so that makes it okay for me to randomly kill and torture their entire bloodline forevermore.

If that god does exist, he's a sick SOB.

It's not cruel if Adam and Eve agreed to those terms. By eating the fruit they essentially committed murder against God. God told them that the wages of sin was death. That's why it was so important to send Jesus to die in our place, because the death (Hell) we would've received is infinitely worse than the death we experience here on earth.

Thank you for the laugh. I forgot that based on the loony toons ethics of Christianity, eating an apple is equivalent to MURDERING GOD. Even though he set up the universe knowing it would happen, knowing his creations would disobey him, and then knowing that would doom countless lives to unjust death.

This is my last post trying to point out how absolutely bat shit crazy the logic used by the religious people in this thread is. I'm interested @xDoubledragon , have you reached any conclusions on the question of your topic?

Yet you fail to respond properly to anything else. By eating the fruit, Adam and Eve showed hatred to God, and God specifically says that hatred is equivalent to murder. But because you don't recognize that I simplified it for you.

@Sleepy_Gary oh man so many posts and I'm on mobile, and here is no way I would be able to respond for everyone. I have vacations rn, in UK. So I can't use pc until sunday. I think I should respond for everyone

By Zeus, I just can't resist pointing out the flaws in your logic. If hatred = murder, than we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Cause I hate religion, and by your logic religion would be dead and gone.

Well I hope you enjoy reading @Resurrection_of_Abel 's multiple manifestos, cause I definitely can't stomach to read that nonsense.

dragon asked a question and we all, to our best ability shared our thoughts. I hope we all find something positive about each other that we can take away from this friendly conversation. Additionally I appreciate that this forum debate wasn't as heating as past ones.

Since I know you won't care if I explain the flaw in your argument, I think it is pointless to respond.
